KAMADIA – Pinned Note (very brief): As Editor-In-Chief, Will I keep Writing?

November 6th, 2019

A reader recently asked: Mr. Kamadia, as Editor-In-Chief of iDose Magazine, do you plan to keep contributing articles every week?

Dear iDose Community,

As Editor-In-Chief of a publication that is less than two months old, I’m happy to report that we’ve reached a GLOBAL audience that exceeded my wildest expectations!

I had initially planned to write a very short essay for our launch, and weigh in occasionally. Though to be candid, I was completely caught off guard with the attention that my pieces received.

iDose has featured articles from some of the sharpest minds on the planet, including authors/scholars from the most famous Universities that you can name. And yet, because my personal articles have been receiving more attention, I felt I had no choice but to keep writing. At least for the first month or two.

Two months are almost up, and I have no plans to stop writing.

But I may shift to weighing in occasionally and/or at moments when I feel it is imperative.

Though even during weeks when you don’t see any of my personal work up, never forget that I take my job as Editor-In-Chief very seriously. Meaning I go through at least 50 to 100 articles and essays per week (in addition to numerous other readings that will never appear on iDose and unrelated work), and select the handful that I believe will be most suitable for all of you – our readers.

And as vital as iDose Magazine is to all of you and the much broader effort to educate, the Magazine is one part of an education-based NGO. iDose (Intellectual Dose) has more plans and we are currently exploring potential engagement in a variety of exciting areas.

Finally, THANK YOU to all our friends, including our readers and those who have helped spread the word. I can personally assure you that iDose will continue to remain steadfastly allergic to both fake news and stupidity.

That commitment will remain without asking you for a dollar. Without asking you for a vote. Without collecting any of your precious private data (as many of your favorite websites do). And without annoying you with tons ads.

Or in other words, making you an offer that you can’t refuse.
