Dear Readers,

When people have asked me what the most influential religion in the world is, my answer has always been pretty straight forward.

The answer consists of none of the big religions. Christianity, Islam or Hinduism do not come close to the world’s most powerful form of faith: the almighty American Dollar.

No other faith commands the enormous allegiance that people have towards the mighty dollar, or perhaps, the currency of the country they live in (assuming it’s stable).

And while I have no problem with the pursuit of money, at a certain point, chasing it becomes pathological. After all, is it wise to dedicate one’s entire life to the pursuit of money? How many millions, or billions is enough?

If you’re curious about the relationship between money and happiness, there is a great philosophy article in this month’s issue that worth reading.

Of course, my own article is a must read for those interested in current affairs.

Welcome back, stay safe and enjoy!
