That was a close one.

Joe Biden barely defeated President Trump.

As was predicted, Trump and many of his cronies are yelling about the election being stolen from them.   

One of the things that I am paying attention to is whether Trump is capable of causing any problems between now and inauguration day. So far, his attempts have been unsuccessful.

Another thing worth monitoring is who Trump’s most vocal Republican supporters are in his evidence-free allegations. Unsurprisingly, many of the loudest voices have every intention to run for president in 2024, and want the support of Trump’s large base.

Many people are also under the false impression that American and Western democracy are now safe. That position is utterly wrong, and it’s one of the three important things I mention in my piece this week.
