The Founder's Promise
By Aly Kamadia
Welcome to iDose Magazine!
As the Founding Editor of iDose Magazine, I am often asked why I chose to establish this publication.
When launching iDose in 2019, I was convinced that we were entering an era of heightened propaganda, disinformation, and calculated deception.
I was mindful that most people did not read. I was acutely aware that among the few who did, a good number engaged only with fiction. Even those who were dedicated to nonfiction often did not pick up the heavier readings.
But knowing what I did, I felt a moral obligation to act as an educator.
A powerful method of educating the public was by disseminating the insights of thoughtful individuals—including some of the most eminent minds of our time.
And so iDose Magazine was born.
Fast forward to 2026, and we find ourselves in the “attention economy”, driven by algorithms designed to addict us and collect our sensitive data. Along with the rapid ascent of large language models, which still ‘hallucinate’ far too often, the need for reasonable voices has never been greater.
Admittedly, I remain a skeptic at heart. My interpretation of history leads me to conclude that waging a war on human stupidity is not one we can ultimately win.
Yet many of the victorious battles author a sense of justice in society, which is something that iDose Magazine is glad to be part of.
So I invite our global readership to trust iDose as an intellectual home—a place where we will steadfastly remain allergic to BS.
Enjoy!
